Video Streaming
In order to view the weekly live seminars, there are a few basic truths to know before connecting effectively.
Connection Speed
You must have a broadband connection (DSL, Cable, or LAN) to view the connection optimally. Anyone connecting with a 56K modem will have sound and video trouble that could come in many forms. This is a very high quality video feed, and we want everyone to experience as much of energy as it is in the Center.
Software Requirements
This video stream is encoded in Microsoft Windows Media Format.
Windows Users
Windows users should download and install the latest Windows Media Player. Click here to download Free Windows Media Player.
Mac Users
Mac users need to download the Windows Media Components for QuickTime made by Flip4Mac. Look for the download button on this web page.
When you click it, a file called "WM Components 2.2.1.11.dmg" will be downloaded. That .dmg file contains the installer that will install a program on your computer that will allow you to view Windows Media files in the Quicktime player. Once it has installed properly, quit and relaunch your browser. The next time you visit meditatelive.com you will be able to watch the live video.
Caveats
Video Streaming is a very complex configuration of hardware, software, connectivity, and network dynamics. It will not be uncommon to encounter a drop in connection, heavy internet activity, or freeze frames during the seminar. There can be a number of reasons why this could happen that is out of our hands as well as yours. Examples range from issues with hardware and software incompatibilities, network traffic with your internet service provider, or any other connection between us and you. If you happen to encounter an issue during the seminar, please try reloading the connection quickly.
Full Screen
To make the video full-screen, press ALT-ENTER at the same time. Doing so again, will minimize the screen into a window. If that doesn't work, you can also try right clicking to bring up a context menu.
If you have any technical issues associated with this connection, please use our contact form and select "Video Support". We are happy to hear from you if you are having trouble.
