Professional Programs

This course is offered through a series of two hour sessions both onsite as well as on the internet. CEU Credits for mental health professionals is only offered on site. The course includes the following:

• Understanding and experiencing the meditative awareness state in light of psychoanalyst Donald Winnicott's concept of transitional relatedness.
• The qualities of the meditational awareness field and their relationship to the support and organization of the personality.
• The spaciousness dimension of the field of meditative awareness and its relation to the thinking and affective functions of the mind.
• The energetic dimension of the field of meditative awareness and its relation to depression and states of collapse.
• The integrative capacity of the meditative state and its usefulness in integrating disassociative states and the cognitive affective functions.
• The multidimensionality of the meditative awareness field and its relationship both to the self object function and the archetypal dimension described by the Jungians.

This is a program focuses on the utilization of the field of awareness in psychotherapy and the phenomenology of the self. CEU credits are offered to psychologists, social workers, psychiatrist and other mental health workers on site. For those who want to participate via the Internet, you must contact us beforehand for permission to take the seminar. CEU credits are being applied for internet participation.

This program meets four weekends a year for two years.

The theme of this experiential seminar is the phenomenology of the innate field of awareness and healing states. CEU credit is available for psychologists, social workers and mental health professionals on site. The Washington Center for Consciousness Studies and The Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Center of Washington D.C . will be offering a Seminar on the Profound experience of becoming aware of the innermost awareness field in psychotherapy and healing relationships. The seminar will utilize the convergence of western phenomenology and Dzogchen methodology. The seminar will be offered on four Sundays throughout the year.

CEU credit will be offered to mental health practitioners.
